ESDM Training

We provide training in the ESDM, including the ESDM Advanced Workshop, ESDM certification and Group-ESDM consultation and training. For more details, see below.

  • This is a 3-day workshop that combines theory and practice in a small group of 3-5 participants. Participants develop their understanding of key ESDM principles, including assessing children, developing goals, embedding goals in play and daily routines, and data collection.

    Delivery;

    • in person and we can provide this workshop at your centre.

    Fees;

    • $1250 per person. 

    Prerequisites: 

    • Must have completed the online ESDM Introductory course with the MIND Institute of UC Davis, see here for more information.

    • Must work regularly with Autistic children between ages 1-5 years

    • Must have a bachelor’s qualification in a relevant field, including allied health and education. 

  • Professionals that have completed the ESDM Advanced Workshop are eligible to undertake ESDM certification. The certification process focuses on supporting participants to continue to develop their ESDM skills and involves submitting short videos and children’s programs (assessment, goals and data) for individual feedback and support.

    • Fees; $1250 per person. 

  • Grow provides consultation for services to embed the ESDM in their group program or early learning service.

    Focus areas include;

    • setting up the environment and room

    • embedding children’s ESDM goals in the curriculum

    • planning motivating learning experiences to support all children

    • facilitating peer interactions

    • classroom positive behaviour support and emotion regulation strategies 

    Training is tailored to each site and can be delivered:

    • through a consecutive 3-day workshop

    • through one-day workshops, across the year

    • through ongoing consultation online or in person

    Fees; $1250 for full day workshops.
